Glenn Ridge, along with outback adventurers Ron and Viv Moon drive a staggering 4,150 kilometres in eight days to tackle some of northern Australia's most rugged and beautiful terrain.

Beginning from the luxurious Port Douglas Mirage Resort in Queensland and ending at Darwin in the Northern Territory, the team travel through all types of landscape including tropical rainforests, savannahs, swollen creeks and lush gorges.

They take a trip on the Gulflander railway, fly around the bizarre 50 metre high stone columns of 'The Lost City' and swim in crocodile infested waters.

Glenn and the team are also the first to make the crossing from east to west at the end of the wet season, which leaves most of the tropical north impassable for months.
